Montigo Resorts, Nongsa Sunset 10K Trail Run

Start from Sand Park by the beach at Montigo Resorts Nongsa, the runners will pass Gate 3 running towards the road junction. There, they turn right entering a forest and when meeting a soil and gravel road, turn right again to reach the sand query next to Montigo Residences. Between Residence 30 and Pura Jaya Hotel there is a narrow steep path down to the sandy beach. From Pura Jaya beach, they will run across Pura Jaya garden towards Kampung Tua where they have to run over a thick bushes and wild plants.

Pantai Bale Bale will be the first Check Point where the runners will get the first rubber band. Then they continue running towards the main gate of Kampung Tua Bakau Serip and turn right just before the main road. They will run up and down along the hill towards Tering Bay direction. Getting out of the hill, just a few meters left of Tering Bay entrance, the runners will across the main road and enter a path way heading to water spring and Bukit Aladin. Hiking Bukit Aladin is both challenging and rewarding for its 360 degrees of scenery.

Down from Bukit Aladin, the runners will witness that the land in Nongsa is also good for agriculture. After crossing the agriculture area, they turn left till they find a concrete road circling the lake inside the Botanic Garden of Batam. They run around the lake till they reach a water tower on their right. There the runners turn right for a short distance.

After passing the water tower, they take a soil road on the left and start hiking up a long the road till meeting a small hut. They turn right and find a corn field on the right and they keep going until the junction where they turn left until reaching the main road. After crossing the main road they follow the same track to reach the sand query. There they turn right heading to Gate 1, and Gate 3, and Finish Line back at the Sand Park.
